Design and Product Development Assistance
Hendrick Metal Products strives to work with customers in the design stages of a product so that we may analyze a project to help meet form, fit, function, and finish requirements. We will help our customers select the most appropriate materials and manufacturing processes in order to achieve economical production and optimized product performance.
We also endeavor to meet our customer’s requirements for prototypes and pre-production runs. We strive to provide our customers a quote within 24 hours of their request and to ship the prototype parts within 3 to 5 business days upon receipt of the order. Customers are encouraged to contact Hendrick Metal Products to discuss the details of their prototype requirements.
Hendrick Metal Products also provides re-design and optimization assistance for existing products. We will submit quotes for projects using alternative materials and manufacturing processes. The comparative analysis helps our customers indentify additional value to be gained from the sheet metal design and/or potential reductions in manufacturing costs.
Flexibility to Meet Our Customer’s Needs
We take our customer’s designs in the form of paper prints or CAD files and use our CAD/CAM software to translate our customer requirements directly into our machines. If our customer does not have defined product data, Hendrick Metal Products will reverse engineer our customer’s product for them upon request.

Hendrick Metal Products uses state-of-the-art software in the production phase of each part. We save our customers time and money by analyzing each part as a software model to visualize any potential problems before creating the part. With ProE and AUTOCAD software, we take the 3D solid models or detail drawings of the potential sheet metal project and convert them to 2D layouts for our production machines.
